Via Cruxit:Beyond Altar is my solo indie game project that I've been working on for the past 2 years (more or less)
Mainly psychological horror, cultism, brainwashing, biology and there is some surrealism in certain chapters
The main style is PS2 inspired but the artstyle changes a lot since I also include PS1 inspired styles and more!

SO THE LORE, MHMHMHMHMHMM VERY VERY hard to explain. There is so much to talk about and so little I ACTUALLY CAN talk about bcs most things lead to SPOILERS +_+ 
The plot takes place in an isolated small village, away from the rest of the world and society, using their own religion and house of worship as a form of "governament" 
You are anything but interested in the cult, living among them or becoming part of them, HOWEVER you have to go there for several reasons (I hope you guess those :P). Weirdly though, you get accepted and welcomed in without any complications. Perhaps it was too easy... And you know that they have a strict access policy. So you should, maybe, probably, keep your guard up. 
Getting close those who are hidden might make you one of them, so be careful, even if you're seeking to save, or be saved $_$
I use godot as an engine, best option for indie devs i think. Especially if you work with 2D. Unreal is also great
Blender is an obvious option and krita bcs why not. I also like medibang
AND OFC, my fucking brain and u MUST use urs 
Or else ur game will end up looking like crap

Fl studio and Da vinci. I sometimes use VSTC or even blender bcs I dont always get to use Da vinci
I started working on Via Cruxit at the age of 15
It was originally going to be a comic with a game but I decided to make it the opposite since it's way more fun like that
I wanted to be a gamedev anyways so that was great (I was familiar with gamedev prior tho)
I had most of the lore already written at 15
Kind of funny ngl, the game is +18 but whatever. No one has to know but the ones who read this
